Preparing and Drinking Tea

Try to use pure filtered water, free of chlorine and fluoride, as it brings out the best in tea.
Organic loose-leaf white or green tea can be steeped up to four times:
First brewing: Add 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf organic white or green tea. Add nearly boiling water and let steep for 5 minutes
Second brewing: Steep for 7 minutes
Third brewing: Steep for 10 minutes
Fourth brewing: Steep for 14 minutes
According to a research project at the University of Berlin in Mitte, it was shown that adding milk to tea will block the healthful effects as casein from milk binds to the molecules of tea that cause the arteries to relax, especially EGCG. It is best to drink white tea and green tea without cream or sugar.
Studies share that drinking two to five cups of white or green tea daily has more health benefits than just drinking one.
